Wrocław University of Science and Technology, in cooperation with Universidade de Lisboa, is pleased to announce the launch of the call for applications for the Industry-Embedded Doctoral School, an initiative within the framework of the Unite.WIDENING project.
The Industry-Embedded Doctoral School is a flagship component of the Unite.WIDENING initiative. It is designed to support directly doctoral students from Widening countries—specifically Poland and Portugal—who are conducting research in strategic areas relevant to both countries. This research must be carried out in collaboration with industry and under the academic supervision of a second supervisor affiliated with a Unite! alliance university located in a non-Widening country.
Doctoral candidates who qualify for this support will be selected through a competitive application process, which will be conducted separately by Wrocław University of Science and Technology and Universidade de Lisboa.
The initiative is addressed to the Doctoral students form Wrocław Tech and ULisboa on the first year of education. In Ulisboa, a recruitment can include prospective Doctoral candidates.
