International Info Day on the European Excellence Initiative

The National Contact Point Department for EU Research Programmes (DKPK NCBR), Poland, together with Czech, Portuguese and Romanian national NCPs are pleased to invite you to the International Information Day “European Excellence Initiative (EEI): general conditions, practical information, project presentation” (HORIZON-WIDERA-2025-01-ACCESS-01, Horizon Europe).

The event is aimed to potential applicants of EEI, as well as to all those who are interested in the Widening component of the WIDERA Work Programme, HE.

This online event will provide:

-Practical guidance for preparing strong EEI proposals
-Lessons learned from previous calls and evaluator feedback
-Presentations of projects from across Europe, including Unite! Widening

Invited speakers – Widening NCPs from Portugal, Romania, Czechia and Poland – will shed some light on the secret of their countries’ success in EEI, give advice to the Info Day participants on making an application really competitive and present their ways of supporting HE applicants.

Participants of this event will get acquainted with EEI projects from Czechia, Portugal, and Romania.

Professor Fátima Montemor, coordinator of Unite! Widening, will present the project at 13:05 CEST.

We will answer your questions concerning EEI and not only!

Unite! Widening Staff Week at Politecnico di Torino

Politecnico di Torino (Italy) is inviting staff from all Unite! partner universities to take part in the Unite! Widening Staff Week, taking place on 24–28 November 2025. Organized within the Horizon Europe–funded Unite!WIDENING project, the event aims to strengthen institutions from Widening countries by fostering excellence in open science and innovation through knowledge sharing, training, and collaboration.
