This year’s ninth edition of Made in Wrocław, held under the theme “Power of Synergy”, took place on October 15–16 in Wrocław. The program included a VC Demo Day, a business conference, an extensive Expo exhibition zone, thematic workshops, and a final gala featuring a startup competition. This year, the Unite Widening project also joined the group of partners present at the event.
In total, more than 2500 participants took part in Made in Wrocław 2025, engaging in a wide range of activities that brought together the worlds of business, innovation and technology, academia, and local government. The main conference, held on October 16, was divided into three thematic tracks: KNOWLEDGE, PEOPLE, and INNOVATION, offering a broad spectrum of inspiring talks and discussions.
Expo Zone – over 42 exhibitors and a rich stage program
The Expo Zone hosted more than 42 exhibitors, including startups, business support institutions, universities, and tech companies. The stage program featured 19 speakers participating in 3 discussion panels, 3 premieres of reports, books, or initiatives, and 3 thematic presentations.
Between the presentations, three prize competitions were held for Expo attendees, adding extra energy to the program and boosting audience engagement.
Technology Gala – the grand finale of the 9th edition
The highlight of this year’s Made in Wrocław was the Technology Business Gala combined with the startup competition. Around 300 guests gathered in the elegant interiors of The Bridge hotel, representing major companies, academia, and the innovation and technology sectors.
During the gala, five Lower Silesian startups presented their projects to the audience and the jury: Neural, Orthoget, Vitabloom, Oncobag, and Valid Labels by Awakast. They competed for a main prize of 30,000 PLN, a special award of 10,000 PLN, and an additional prize consisting of an intellectual property audit service.
Unite Widening – presence of the widening partner in the event program
As part of the conference and exhibition area, the Unite Widening project was presented to attendees. Key goals and assumptions of the initiative were displayed on information screens, while representatives of the project engaged with participants, answered questions, and showcased opportunities for collaboration within the growing innovation ecosystem.
