The Unite!Widening project has been launched to help strengthen the scientific potential in Portugal and Poland. A special event on this matter had held on 1st and 2nd February in Lisbon.

Unite!Widening is another program – after the UNITE.H2020 project completed in December 2023 – that is intended to shape an integrated research and innovation strategy within the Unite! alliance.

UNITE.H2020 has developed an integrated and long-term strategy for research and innovation conducted by universities associated in the network. The aim was to prepare a common program for their development and implement pilot initiatives in line with various modules of institutional transformation proposed by the European Commission.

Several of these activities will continue under the Unite!Widening program. Its goal is to strengthen Unite! as an alliance, by increasing its scientific, technological and innovative potential. It will focus on strengthening the scientific potential of two countries: Poland and Portugal.
