Unite.WIDENING is leveling the playing field for European innovation. We are ensuring that talent in Poland and Portugal leads, rather than just joins, the continent’s most ambitious research projects. Following recent recognition from CORDIS, our project is accelerating its impact through a combination of specialized training series, deep industry integration, and innovative digital hubs like the AGORA platform.

We would like to invite staff and faculty from all Unite! partner universities to participate as trainers, lecturers, and mentors to design the Widening Training Series for Researchers. Join us in shaping a practical, hands-on programme that not only enhances their skills but also builds concrete collaborations and long-term cooperation within the alliance.
Turin turned into a hub of innovation and exchange as Politecnico di Torino hosted the Unite! Widening Staff Training Week, bringing together administrative professionals from across Europe for five days of hands-on sessions, campus visits and cross-border networking. From deep dives into research support to spontaneous idea exchanges over coffee, the event showcased how collaboration can spark fresh perspectives in research and innovation services.
This year’s ninth edition of Made in Wrocław, held under the theme “Power of Synergy”, took place on October 15–16 in Wrocław. The program included a VC Demo Day, a business conference, an extensive Expo exhibition zone, thematic workshops, and a final gala featuring a startup competition. This year, the Unite Widening project also joined the group of partners present at the event.
