On April 3rd, 2025, experts from Unite! participated in Workshop 3: Responsible Knowledge Transfer in Higher Education, held in collaboration with the EUTOPIA Alliance.
Experts from Unite! have joined forces with the University alliance EUTOPIA to discuss a macro-level perspective on European and Global policies and approaches to Knowledge and Technology Transfer and to consider the interaction between policy and practice. The workshop provided a valuable platform to examine how policy and practice intersect, and to reflect on the responsibilities of higher education institutions in shaping ethical, effective, and sustainable knowledge exchange.

The Unite! Widening project is proud to announce the definition of four Strategic Research Areas, developed through a rigorous analysis of institutional strengths, research performance indicators, and alignment with EU policy goals. These areas not only reflect the most promising domains within our partner universities—ULisboa and WroclawTech—but also support Europe’s broader ambitions for sustainable growth, innovation, and resilience.

On April 15, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology hosted the Let’s Unite! fair – a unique event that gave the entire university community a chance to explore the opportunities offered by Unite!, an alliance of nine European technical universities working together to create an innovative model of education, research, and mobility. Attendees also had the chance to learn more about the UNITE! Widening project.

Another insporing Dialogue in Barcelona is behind us! This meeting proved again to be an invaluable opportunity for the Unite.Widening project, reinforcing our shared commitment to excellence in collaboration, management and research.
